Before you file
Every court has its own rules about who may prepare a transcript and how it must be certified. Some accept a transcript of the court's official recording; others require one prepared by a certified reporter. This tool formats your document and builds the certification page. It never certifies anything, and it isn't legal advice. Check your court's transcript rules or ask the clerk's office. Or pick "I'm not sure" on the sign-up form and we'll help you figure out what your court needs, including certification at additional cost when it's required.
